Today in Black History we celebrate the Contributions of Constance Baker Motley.

Constance Baker Motley was a key strategist of the African-American civil rights movement, obtaining a role with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. She argued and won nine of the 12 landmark civil rights cases in front of the Supreme Court. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson named her a Federal Court judge making her the first Black Woman to hold this position.
