Black Woman, could you use some help with your business?
We got you. These Black Women Grants were designed for Black Women like you looking to grow and expand their business. Take time to read each grant description and apply for the one that best fits your needs. Please, only apply for one grant. Incomplete applications will not be considered. No idea is too big or too small. Our committee is looking for passion, business smart and creativity.
Qualifications
- Business Owner must identify as a Black Woman
- Must be 18 or over to apply
- Applicants must meet the requirements as outlined by Buy From a Black Woman
- Business must have some type of on-line presence.
- For some grants, proof of ownership is required
- Application must be completed in full

Application Fee: Please note there’s a $10 application fee. This fee covers the review of your application and administrative costs of Buy from a Black Woman.

THE BLACK WOMAN BUSINESS GRANT
Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business that is seeking funds for her business. This grant purpose is to help advance or better their current business model. This year’s Black Woman Business Grant recipient will receive $2,500 USD & Trademark protection for the current business if needed.
THE BLACK WOMAN E-COMMERCE WEBSITE GRANT
Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business Owner who currently is operating their business on a third-party platform and does not have a website of their own. You will work together with the Buy From a Black Woman Team to create a function e-commerce website similar to the one seen here. We will cover the hosting cost and all fees* associated with building and hosting the website for one full calendar year. See an example here.
THE BLACK WOMAN PROJECT GRANT
Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business Owner who is looking for funding for a specific project that will help advance or better her current business. Application will have to submit a project & budget outline. This grant will award one project up to $1,500 USD.
THE BLACK WOMAN TRADEMARK GRANT
Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business Owner who needs to legally protect and registering their “brand name”. Applications must watch The Buy From a Black Woman Trademark & Copyright Grant Information Video before applying. This grant will cover all cost and legal fees associated with trademarking their “brand name”.
