The Black Woman Grant
Black Woman, could you use some help with your business?
We got you. These Black Women Grants were designed for Black Women like you looking to grow and expand their business.
Please take time to read each grant description and apply for the one that best fits your needs. Please, only apply for one grant. Incomplete applications will not be considered. No idea is too big or too small. Our committee is looking for passion, business smart and creativity.
Qualifications
- Business Owner must identify as a Black Woman
- Must be 18 or over to apply
- Applicants must meet the requirements as outlined by Buy From a Black Woman
- Business must have some type of on-line presence.
- For some grants, proof of ownership is required
- Application must be completed in full

Application Fee: Please note there’s a $10 application fee. This fee covers the review of your application and administrative costs of Buy from a Black Woman.

The Black Woman Business Grant
The Black Woman Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business that is seeking funds for her business. This grant purpose is to help advance or better their current business model.
-This year’s Black Woman Business Grant recipient will receive $2,500 USD.
-Trademark protection is business is not already trademark.
-A website audit.
The Black Woman Project Grant
The Black Woman Project Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business Owner who is looking for funding for a specific project that will help advance or better her current business.
Application will have to submit a project & budget outline.
This grant will award a project up to $1,500 USD.
The Black Woman Web Business Grant
The Black Woman Web Business Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business Owner who currently does not have a website. We will work together with the Buy From a Black Woman Digital Team to create a full function e-commerce website.
\We will cover the hosting cost and all fees associated for one full calendar year and provide a one on one consultation with a sales tax expert to register your business for sales tax in your home state.
The Black Woman Trademark Grant
in partnership with Ivy's Tea Co.
The Black Woman Trademark Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Business Owner who needs to legally protect and registering their “brand name”. Applications must watch The Buy From a Black Woman Trademark & Copyright Grant Information Video before applying.
This grant will cover the cost and legal fees associated with trademarking their “brand name”.
The Black Woman Copyright Grant
in partnerships with Nicole Gaither, Esq
The Black Woman Copyright Grant will be awarded to a Black Woman Artist who needs to ensure their creative work is legally protected. This grant will cover the cost and legal fees associated with registering part of their creative collection.
